E sempre a chuvia, a chuvia, a chuvia, a chuvia /
And forever the rain, the rain, the rain, the rain
"E sempre a chuvia, a chuvia, a chuvia, a chuvia" (And forever the rain, the rain, the rain, the rain) is a book about an innovative theater festival in Santiago de Compostela. The main content of the book is a series of essays about the plays showed in the festival. The budget for production was very low. The briefing and the editorial design ideal was to make a book that somehow communicates the experimental and innovative character of the Festival.
The main design idea was to produce an inexpensive book that somehow relates to the innovative character of the Theater Festival (Escenas do cambio/Scenes of change). The cover of the book, once fully opened, forms a fictional stage and displays a long poem. The title of the book runs through all the cover as a declamation out loud. The book block of the book was printed in a very inexpensive paper (mainly used in supermarket brochures) using two spot inks (Black and Copper metallic)
