I assume that Google glass did not gain popularity due to the synthetic look and the fact that you need to put them on every day. On the contrary, organic head-eye piece that merges with one’s body can provide a better experience due to its wearability and uniqueness (as each crystal will grow to fit the unique facial features of the host).
