About The Project

The project was about maintaining and updating the design for My Pages, as needed based on other projects run internally at Telenor. The design we came up with should be implemented across different digital channels, where I focused on My Pages. In addition to this the project included doing some small design tasks for online.no and telenor.no.

My role in this project was as an Interaction Designer with responsibility for the design on My Pages. I worked with the development team for My Pages, and in a team with other Interaction Designers at Telenor.

The Challenge

The challenge was to improve the interaction design on the existing web platform, and start working towards a new and unifying experience across Telenor Norge´s digital channels.

The Process

User Research

Through workshops and collaboration with people from different parts of the organization, we gained a more thorough understanding about the different needs, limitations and goals we needed to take into account when designing.

User Testing

Throughout the project we conducted user testing both in a lab setting, and by using simpler and quicker guerilla methods. Testing was done both on simple paper prototypes, InVision prototypes and on running code.

Sketching & Prototyping

One priority was to come up with reusable modules for My Pages, and to make these patterns recognizable from the My Telenor App. This work started with simple wireframe sketches on paper, before being finalized in Sketch using examples containing real content.

The user flow was prototyped with high-fidelity sketches, and user tested. It also served as documentation. The resulting design was based on new design guidelines developed for My Telenor App and Telenor.no, and should work on all screen sizes.
