the capital of Bulgaria on its first issue.

Unlike Floom, this magazine has a wide range of target audience and it’s packed with articles. I illustrated the cover page and the map inside the spread by using Gouache. The concept was to emphasize that tourists could travel around Bulgaria, just like the locals. This was inspired by the fact that in Sofia, random people can just join in to dance whenever there are folk dancers and musicians nearby.
