Brand Identity and Packaging
The Specter Brand is a company which has a direct correlation to a passion of mine which is Freestyle Rolling. This is a sport which is rarely seen by the public so I wanted to take the opportunity to use my design abilities to create a company for the community of skaters that provided quality products while pushing the coverage of the sport.
The word Specter is defined as "a ghost, or apparition" which was very fitting for the sport of Freestyle Rolling because, like a ghost, the sport is very much there but rarely seen. Once the brand name was created I then began developing the core product, which is wheels, around four professional skaters who very much deserve a product with their name on it.
The packaging was created to not only contain the wheels during shipping but also provide the customer with a complete brand identity that would accentuate the high quality products that Specter puts out. To accompany the wheels and bearings an apparel line was developed to increase exposure while also giving the company another option for revenue.
All of the imagery was taken by myself and although not pictured a team highlight video was also made to complete the Specter Brand Identity. Also, although this company is not currently in production, I wanted to create solid base for if Specter would ever want to expand.
