Interactive Design

The challenge given for this project was to design an interactive platform in Flash for the SIUC Department of Theater that would allow the user to easily access the area of interest that they so desire. Although there was creative freedom in the layout all other aspects had to follow the Southern Illinois University brand identity which was a good challenge in following a rigid set of rules.

While formulating the navigation I kept in mind how quickly the user could access the information they desired, so minimal clicks was key. Each page is paired with subtle animation to create an interactive experience that feels responsive to every click while not distracting from the information provided.
