We are taking a journey from the misty German highways to a country still shrouded in tradition. Landing into a warm evening and finding ourselves surrounded by Moroccans wearing winter jackets we can see that Marrakesh never sleeps. The smells and noises are inescapable. Our Rhiad is our getaway just a few steps from the narrow bazaar streets crowded with donkeys carrying their loads and scooters driving way too close to people.

We are waking up before the first rays of sun reach the tiny streets to capture the shadows on the buildings. Our winter days here are about rooftop breakfasts, taxi rides, long bazaar walks and mint tea.
