Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall

Visual Identity for KC Vatroslava LIsinskog
I approached the project of creating the visual identity for the Concert Hall of Vatroslav Lisinski by first analyzing the hall’s history.
The Concert Hall is a well-loved edifice in Zagreb for both historical and architectural  reasons.

Vatroslav Lisinski, after whom theConcert Hall was named, was the composer of the first Croatian opera.
I decided to honor his memory, while still accentuating the modern style of the building itself. Therefore, the concept of the logo is based
on the mixture of old and new colliding with each other. It depicts the visual of the music stave and a clean, geometry-based typography.
The typography is treated as notes on the sta, providing letters with ligatures, giving them a ‘harmonical’ feel.

The Concert Hall of Vatroslav Lisinski is now generally referred to as only,‘Lisinski’. With this in mind, I chose to only use this for
the visual identity to further modernize the design and connect with the younger generation.
THANK YOU!
