We conceptualized a brand activation campaign that surprised a normal Sunday service at the Kwamashu Lutheran Church. As part of the Sunlight Bursting with Music campaign, the congregation was treated to surprise performances by South Africa’s top celebrity gospel singers, Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Sfiso Ncwane and Rebecca Malope.

But, the excitement didn’t end there! 180 golden ticket winners were treated to a VIP trip back home on the luxury Sunlight buses. The biggest surprise however, was the celebrity gospel singers joining the winners on the Sunlight bus to sing and celebrate all the way home.

The Sunlight bus shelters are another way in which Sunlight is bringing joy to South Africans. Using the sun’s energy, the bus shelters stay lit up after dark providing light for waiting commuters. They also have the ability to play continuous music, so they burst with music all day long.
