Lambada was invited by Mariana and Andreza of Estúdio Linear to work on two murals of their new project: Sul Bar, at Vila Madalena, São Paulo. The main idea was to work on a concept that reflects South America, the main theme of the bar, but without being too obvious.
We chose several color schemes and ideas but we finally picked that warm unexepected tones to start the painting. It was our first mural so we took two days to finish the first one (but it was completely fun!).
We did the digital painting first before painting on the wall. Mixing abstract and organic forms with textures and leaves, the illustration reflects the botanic from South America.
