Arabic Clothing Line, Identity
The Brief: come up with a brand name, and create a visual brand identity for a T- shirt line aimed at a target audience of females, aged 18-28.
The identity should match with the values of luxury and quality, in a tone of voice of elegance, and friendly, and should reflect on arab culture.
My outcome is use of digitally drawn arabic calligraphy, as well as a modern, light and very elegant typeface to translate the arabic type.
The word 'habibi' is a commonly known arab way of saying the word love, in a very informal and casual way. Hence the brand name chosen, matches the criteria of appealing to women of arabic culture as well aiding the informal and friendly tone of voice.
