These were completed together as my thoughts were forming what it means to depict women as the female archetypes. I have been ultimately bored of the art world and all the many artists that draw, paint, photograph women for whatever reasons and concepts whether it be for female empowerment or just as objects of beauty. So, I created these ironically and threw them out there on Tumblr (I am no longer apart of that blogsphere) and somehow they did get popular because strange women in a landscape suggesting somewhat sexuality is a recipe for success- everything that I'm against. If it makes me feel any better, these images didn't help my other art get noticed. Oh the irony ensues...

And on the other hand, I am a woman and I have no problem creating self portraits of myself as a strange woman in a landscape. Oh contradictions, they're a blast aren't they?

One more thing to mention, I was inspired by Jean Dubeffet.

Thank you for viewing and reading.
