These paintings share the theme of abstraction and nonobjective color play. Eventually when I use up paint tubes, I cut them open and dissect anything left they have to offer. The paint tubes are cut into pieces and applied to the wooden board with Gamblin's cold wax medium (it's my favorite oil paint medium).

My paintings tend to be very different than my drawing style. Oil paint allows me to be free that I don't need to feel restricted to conveying a concept through conventional drawing methods and accuracy.
