The challenge was to document my consumption of a chosen topic over the course of a week. Working with this data, the next challenge was to design a set of information graphics that allowed viewers to develop a deeper understanding of that topic.

Using my personal consumption data of the washroom as a starting point, I created a set of three visually complex infographics. The information is carefully structured and divided into digestible sections, which allows the viewer to read and explore the data, piece by piece. Typography, colour, lines and icons aid in directing the viewer throughout the posters. Ultimately, the posters were designed to enlighten viewers about the exorbitant amount of paper and water that is consumed while using the washroom, and how one person's consumption translates to the global scale.

In order to fully understand my personal consumption, I had to document many things. By doing so, I was able to understand my usage to a much greater degree.
