Team: UI designer, 3 developers, 5 art historians

Design story: Create an intuitive multi-function platform to manage and locate works of art.  

Design decisions: Research was required to study how art experts and scholars use existing art portal tools. 

Way of thinking: Since most existing tools had been desktop based not changed since 2002, it was challenging to introduce a new browser-based tool. Despite the challenge, it was still possible to deliver a modern and intuitive prototype candidate that went to development.
