Dictionary of Accepted Ideas

The Dictionary of Accepted Ideas is a satirical dictionary assembled from notes compiled by Gustave Flaubert. The book takes on some of the 1870's French Society clichés and deconstructs them in order to expose the ridicule of some preconceptions.
Graphically the book explores its grid in order to convey the limitations imposed by social conventions.
The illustrations serve as a mean to take on some of Flaubert's ideas and bring them to contemporaneity.
