Sound Design and Music composition.

When I saw this project from the Japanese animator Masanobu Hiraoka, I decided to compose a track thinking on a voice as the main character. So first I called Marina Herlop, (I have done other project with Masanobu using her voice and she has the perfect timbre for this surreal world) once she told me "yeah", I did a basic harmony that we recorded using her voice, the other part of the job for the singer was to try some resources (around half an hour of them), that we selected and used to give an extra to the piece, and also as sfx. You can listen here the track of the voices alone and locate this resources. As always with Masanobu, I work with a closed video, so all the music is synced to his edit, this is probably one of the main challenges.
Voice track alone.
Screenshot voice tracks.
Here is two tracks and the screenshot of the other instruments.

There are:
Bambo and windchimes + Mbira doing the harmony.
A Bandoneon (I type of accordion) but heavly processed by "movement" a modulator that I really like from "Output"
And doing the bass is another Mbira but in a lower register.
Also in pink all the percussion part. I look for a rhythm which fits well with the video and tried to give as sync as possible. To avoid the use of sfx.
And here without percusión to listen better the modulation on the Bandoneon, and Mbira/ windchimes.
The SFx part.

This piece is only 15sec long, and as I have said voice and percussion elements have the mission of the sfxs, but I put some flesh/underwater sounds and a little foley to fully cover all the needs.
