Handmade jewelry e-commerce website
Uptown Studio is a handmade jewelry shop specializing in hand-stamped jewelry in silver and gold. For the e-commerce website I chose a minimalist style because I wanted the jewelry to be the main focus, not the website itself. Neutral colors were chosen as well as sans serif fonts.
I coded the website in HTML and CSS so I would have greater control over the placement of the elements. I created all of the graphic images and took all of the photography shots of the jewelry as well. I also integrated a third-party shopping cart by Mal's Ecommerce and set up the ProPay account so the company could receive funds from online orders. A contact form was also integrated into the website, as well as a hosted e-mail newsletter list.
