At Futurism, I took on the role of shaping videos around science and technology topics, creating content that resonated deeply with our audience. In my one year working with the team, I've managed to edit over 250+ videos. One particular piece, "Terraforming Mars", received an extraordinary reception from the Futurism community, racking up an astounding 37 million views and over 62k comments. This success was not just about the edit, but also about crafting a captivating narrative that engaged our audience.
While I primarily focused on video editing, the raw materials I worked with were curated by our producers. They provided me with clips, which I then meticulously pieced together to craft promotional videos for upcoming Futurism talks. These efforts significantly amplified our audience engagement and resulted in a noticeable surge in talk attendance. Recognizing the potential for streamlining our workflow, I also joined forces with other video editors in the team. Together, we developed daily-use video templates, which proved vital in boosting our overall productivity and refining the way we operated.

The "Terraforming Mars" project stands out as a defining moment during my time at Futurism. Delving into NASA's insights about the challenges of making Mars habitable for humans, the narrative was both professionally rewarding and personally fascinating. The video's impressive traction, evident from its 37 million views and the vast amount of interaction it generated (300k reactions and 62k discussions on Facebook), speaks volumes about the synergy of in-depth research and deft editing.
Creating this video with the Futurism team was an experience I cherish, especially given my personal affinity for space topics. It remains a project I recall with pride and nostalgia. Enjoy!
