Felix Sanchez, Dominican Republic Gold - Men's 400m Hurdles

After losing his grandmother on the eve of his 400m hurdles heat at the Beijing Olympics and failing to make the final, Felix Sanchez made a promise to win Gold for her at London 2012. Four years later, having kept his promise, he knelt on the track above her photo, which he had run with under his vest.
Mo Farah, Great BritainGold - 5000m & 10000m
As one of the faces of the London Olympics, there was a huge amount of home expectation on Mo's shoulders to win Gold. His reaction to his first, in the 5000m, was one of pure joy mixed with massive relief.
Chad le Clos, South Africa
Gold - Men's 200m Butterfly

Chad le Clos beating the seemingly unbeatable Michael Phelps was one of the shock stories of the Olympics. His reaction to winning was one of sheer disbelief.
David Rudisha, Kenya
Gold - Men's 800m

David Rudisha's world record olympic gold was arguably the most impressive feat of the 2012 Olympics. Such was his incredible pace in the final that every other competitor set either a personal or season's best in that race. Indeed, even Britain's Andrew Osagie, who finished last, got a lifetime best of 1:43.77 - a time that would have won him gold at any of the Beijing, Athens or Sydney Olympics. It was awesome to see how pumped he was having achieved his insane record.
