'Labyrinth' - Promotion for a University event.
This was a freelance project whereby students from my university on the creative events management course wanted posters designed for their event called 'The Labyrinth'. It was briefed to me as being a haunted maze experience. For my chosen stylistic interpretation, I looked to the themes of dystopia and futurism. When I thought about my personal experience with mazes, I thought about how disorientating they can make you feel, similar to the effects of watching a 3D film. I chose to create the poster visuals using a 3D appearance and effect, as like 3D films, I wanted the poster to make the audience feel physically immersed in the design and give indications as to the atmosphere and nature of the event.
Stickers that could be used to promote the event, by sticking on surfaces such as lamp posts around the local area.
A T-Shirt that could serve as a momento/souvenir to customers at the event.
