The Chocolate Orange Hill is an abstract animated guide to a hill in Innerleithen called Caerlee Hill. The animation is a personal story about a journey up Caerlee Hill to find a chocolate orange. This journey has been a tradition since I was a child. When visiting family in Scotland we would often climb Caerlee Hill. Each time my dad would hide a chocolate orange in the dry stone dyke at the top of the hill, me and my brothers would then hunt for the chocolate orange. The hill was therefore nicknamed The Chocolate Orange Hill. Audio recordings were captured while climbing up the hill which were then combined with ambient samples to create a soundscape which can be heard in the final animation.
