Computer History Museum's Speaker Series

The founder and chairman of Condusiv Technologies Corporation, Craig Jensen has more than four decades of experience in the information technology field. Outside of work, Craig Jensen contributes to the Computer History Museum (CHM), which will host an event May 2, 2017, titled Computing in Your Pocket: The Pre-History of the iPhone in Silicon Valley.

As part of the museum’s speaker series, Computing in Your Pocket will feature moderator John Markoff, a historian at the CHM; Jerry Kaplan, a founder of Go Corp.; Steve Capps, a developer of the Newton during his time at Apple; and Marc Porat, a cofounder of General Magi.

Organized by the CHM Exponential Center, the event will give participants a glimpse into the two decades preceding the development of the iPhone. Prior to the speaker series, participants can join a short tour of the Mobile Computing Gallery led by Marc Weber, who serves as curatorial director of the CHM Internet History Program.
