I was interested in making a logo that played with shapes: one that had strong curves but also a few more triangular elements. I started by sketching out the idea of a mother fox with her child, using a laptop.

I outlined the sketch, keeping the strong lines. The mother's head went through a few iterations. In this stage I was working on getting the lines to border each other nicely.

Finally, I outlined using shapes this time, keeping the outlines slightly irregular so as to give the logo a more handicraft-like, welcoming style. I picked a colour palette with warm hues that wasn't too pale as the idea was to have the logo be used on t-shirts.
