Editorial Design for the book Trozos de Una Vida by Anacleto Oló Mibuy, including Illustration and cover design. As the book is a collection of writings by Anacleto Oló Mibuy an Equatorial Guinean author, I wanted to reflect his love to his country and the African continent and how important his homeland is in his life and writings. The illustration shows a hearted Africa, textured with elephant skin an icon from this continent; placing Equatorial Guinea with a white olive twig as a peace symbol.

As the book is a collection of poems written by Anacleto Oló Mibuy in memorial of friends who passed away. The cover wants to be that warm hug received in those sorrowful moments, helping to cope. As the poems helped the author to get through that grief. The hug is depicted as a black ribbon symbolizing the muring moment when those poems where written.
