Branding for Russian Arthouse Film Festival

Russian arthouse film festival is on for 5 years already. We were asked to create the style of the festival. The main idea is that the films of this festival appeal to everyone in the audience, and leave the something deep down in the soul. The authors ideas are unique and affective like the stone, that is thrown in the middle of a calm and still lake. 

Everyone of us is the author for our own reality and everone sees their own answers in the films. presented in the festival. That is why the main visual element of the festival changes from object to object. The badges are individualised not only by the name but also by a fingerprint. Because festival is "the films, which leave the print".  


In the end of the festival the participants, guests and organisers are to make the united fingerprint for the whole festival with their own fingers. There are ink sponges to the lest and to the right of the instalation. Anybody can put the fingerprint where they like. 5 rings are for 5 years of the festival like tree rings.
