Billy
Billy is a character from ‘The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me’ by Roald Dahl. Billy is a small boy who has wished and wished to own his own sweet shop. Then, one day he makes three new friends and his life is never the same again!

Whilst creating Billy I couldn’t decide on a colour palette. Then, it suddenly occurred to me that if it’s his dream to own a sweet shop and he later goes on to sell Wonka products in that sweet shop... He might in some way idolise and try to emulate Willy Wonka. So, I gave him a Velvet coat and instead of green trousers I gave him a green scarf.
