As a part of development of the form, BKID designed a Mobius Alpha using a latest technology, Rapid Prototyping. Beyond just a general insulation and machining method, we studied a new form and structure with studies of the new background of a technology, paramatric modeling. This Mobius Alpha was a cooperated piece of the BKID and the Materialise, a professional rapid prototyping firm.

BKID는 새로운 조형 탐구를 위하여 최신의 Rapid prototyping 기법을 활용한 Mobius Alpha를 디자인하였다. 산업디자인의 일반적인 방법인 사출, 머시닝 가공의 한계를 넘어선 새로운 기술력을 바탕으로 paramatric modeling 기법을 활용하여 새로운 형태와 구조에 대한 스터디를 진행하였다. 이번 작업은 Rapid prototype 전문 업체인 Materialise와 협력 작업으로 제작되었다.
