Woodcut print. 18"x24".

This print was created using the figure-ground method; when the artist carves 1 block for the bottom, and then carves and prints a black "key block" over top. My key block here was inked up with black ink mixed with a tremendous amount of tint base to make it less opaque so that the color block beneath could shine through.
