Huis van het Nederlands Antwerp is a centre where people come to learn Dutch. The centre became part of a bigger organisation: Atlas, Migration & Integration. As a farewell present Huis van het Nederlands made a book with stories told by their students. Little stories about their land of origin, about learning Dutch, about their childhood, …
The stories were all quiet individual and of different length, so I created a strict grid in which all these different sizes fitted well. As the stories were so personal, I wanted to give them all a unique little visual, without overloading the book. I used the lines I use often in my graphic work for Huis van het Nederlands and tried to tell something simple about each story.
Printed on a nice matte paper in black plus one strong blue pantone color. And some fluo on the cover!
