I've been telling myself for a while now that I want to be an illustrator. Problem is that I wasn't drawing, at all, and I used to love doing it.

My drawings don't tell stories and I'm not sure about what kind of style I like. So, I decided to try sketching a little bit every day since the New Year's Eve.
At first, I tried different approaches but I became frustrated about the fact that I wasn't able to finish most of my daily drawings. Then, I thought it would be nice to dedicate more time to a single sketch and this is my first one. I spent seven days doing it, in about one hour per day. I know it takes me ages... See, I'm a slow drawer.

Despite the stains on the flesh and the bruised paper in certain zones, I'm happy with the result, because this is a beginning for me. I'm hoping I'll keep doing this until my technique improves —for the drawings and their photographs— and hopefully, I'll find eventually what I'm looking for.
