Safe Passage For Sea Creatures was a project we were proud to be a part of. We worked with Liquid Thread (a division of Starcom), to produce a video for WWF (World Wildlife Fund) that would help raise the funds to remove a 1.2km fishing net from the Great Barrier Reef.
A small number of large nets in the Great Barrier Reef threaten thousands of sharks, dolphins, turtles, dugongs and other marine life. The nets hang like curtains, trapping marine creatures as they swim along ocean highways. Once entangled in a net, these animals can drown in a matter of minutes.
This campaign was so successful that WWF reached way beyond their target and raised the money to remove two nets from the Reef.
