The lamp you see here is called Re3. It stands for reduce, reuse, redesign. It is made out of CDs, which is one of the biggest wastes in landfills. People nowadays purchase their music and movies straight from the internet into their portable player. A mass amount of CDs are no longer used and has been thrown away. So, this lamp would help reduce the CD waste all over the world. Despite the lamp’s environmental aspect, it is designed with a modern look and feel. The light coming out of it has a rainbow-like effect. 20% of the purchase will be donated to Green House Association.
