1st Concept I created a seal to emphasize on high quality works and trust worthiness. I utilized the gearwheel to give it more of a mechanical look, which symbolized the many skills that can be provided for service. Typeface is again memphis. It is neat and strong and get the message across. Slab serif made it easier to read as well. Color is kept within requested, which works great for handyman field. 2nd Concept I kept it simple and straight forward by using wrench. It is also a great representation of a Handyman, which will be very easy to understand for the target audience. I chose memphis for the typeface, because it has a nice strong weight to it as well as it is often used for construction projects. Color is just as client requested which are orange and grey. Lance Witt is a firefighter who wants to start a handyman business in his off time. He hasn't ever really had professional training, but he has been fixing odds and ends around the house his whole life. He would like to target homeowners in the Treasure Valley area of Idaho that need a mr. fixit. The brand identity should be easy, accessible, and ready to help. The identity needs to be easily recognizable that showcase the services that Lance provides.
