Dubai Design Days {DDD}
rebranding project
rebranding project
The brief of this project was to rebrand 'Design Days Dubai', [ for the sake of the project I renamed 'Dubai Design Days', as it allows for city's name to be the first form of recognition]. In this project i rebranded the logo, create stationary and moments where the logo would be present and then took ambitious turn towards a more futurist approach to poster design, by creating a '3D poster' as a unique form of advertisement.
The Logo
Dubai Design Days; is the transitional state between primitive heritage and modern creation, that galvanizes through time.
The creation of the logo was derived from a geometric grid that highlighted the innovative feel of Dubai. The construction of logo is very much reminiscent of the buildings and ever-changing lifestyle that Dubai holds. The transition of the cubic forms morph from the latin letter 'D' into the arabic letter 'د' (dal).

Stationary and Brand
The 3D posters and Fabric
The concept is derive from the attempt to create a visual language that is communicated through a structure by combining physical materiality and 3 dimensional form, to create some sort of elusionary art that surpasses the conventional of creating 2D posters or banners as a form of brand identity.
