D104 is a flat located in Gurgaon, India. The man leaving inside works mainly abroad and travels a lot. He wanted a relaxing place to come home, including at least one home theater,Ā but also welcoming for his son which moved abroad as well to study piano. The project brings traditionnal details from Indian architecture into a modern interior, from block printing frames to jali screens or light fixtures. The project was foccussing on the guest room, replace by a patio/waiting area at the entry, and on the living room.
Entry of the flat. Can be use as a waiting area for guests, as well as a more intimate place to relax for people living in.
Smallest home theater in the patio, visible from the balconny as well.
Steps hidden under the bench to create a private exit on the balconny, known only by the owner.
Living room, including the main home theater, a piano and a dinning area.
Alternance of acoustic panels, screens and wood panels to hold light fixutes onĀ walls of TVĀ theater.
