The Al Bateen Wharf integrates architecture, landscape, art and cultural traditions to connect the waterfront of the Abu Dhabi East Bay and West Bay into a continuous public space. The culturally significant project is a complex urban waterfrontproject that brings together two Marinas and mixed-use facilities including restaurants, exclusive yacht club, recreational boating, traditional fishing,retail and special services. The site issurrounded by planned five star hotels, mixed-use retail, fishermen’smaintenance, dry stack, and programmed with passive and active landscape withsculptural interpretive heritage elements. Construction is underway.
