A refined take on the classic, and versatile, hairpin leg. Like the original design these hairpin legs are all one form, with simple materials that can be bolted on to almost any surface. The addition of the intermediate support really stiffens these up so the bouncing you can get from traditional hairpin legs is minimized.

I was able to use a smaller profile steel rod and achieve the same stiffness. This alleviates some of the bulkiness that some hairpins can have.

The unique form of the legs gives a great asymmetric and ever changing impression to the final form that is extremely hard to capture with a camera.
