This is the first experimental piece meant to bring together seemingly incompatible techniques to create contemporary necklaces. This particular item features soft weaving and a hard porcelain base, resembling a bone. 

First, the porcelain parts were fired in a kiln, next to other items.

Then the base was used to match the make-shift weaving board, so that the woven pendant could be created directly off it. 

Weaving on such a small scale was quite challenging, but the result exceeded my expectations.
