The Netherlands is known for its windmills, wooden shoes, bad weather and innovative designs. Senz combined those last two and came up with a pretty neat idea: They developed the famous storm umbrella which can withstand even the biggest Elephant sneeze thanks to its asymmetrical design.

In this commercial the audio is really complementing the story and feel of the film. With a calm atmosphere in the beginning to a stormy composition with thundering sound design.

At first, the music blends in with the sound design. Tension rises subtly, until a tipping point is reached. A heavy climax follows, voicing the feel of the rain storm. Classical and modern instruments are combined to convey the innovative yet classic character of the product.

Wind and rain have to be part of the sound design. But not in it’s natural form. We have chosen for a combination of organic sounds and abstract sounds that give a modern feel, but still with the characteristics of the natural elements.
