Arab Thought Foundation - FIKR 14 Conference, Cairo, Egypt
December 3-8, 2015 - A cross-sector and cross-cultural gathering in the Arab world, FIKR is a platform for ideas exchange between more than 800 Arab and international leaders. FIKR brings together intellectuals, decision-makers, thinkers, researchers, and representatives of the private sector; as well as civil society, media and youth along with their international counterparts to discuss the most pressing issues facing the Arab region and the world. Fikr 14 took place in Cairo – Egypt and was under the patronage of the president of the republic of Egypt, Mr. Abdel Fattah El Sissi. Its theme was “Arab Integration: Challenges and Outlooks”. It was a special conference since it coincided with the 70 years of the Arab League, the happening of FIKR took place at the Arab League in the presence of its Secretary General, Mr. Nabil Al Araby.
