Museum Brand Image - Milano Design Area

Year: March - Juli 2016
Course: Visual Communication Design
The project aim was to create from the roots the brand identity of a fictional graphic design museum based in Milan. First of all we started the project finding a name, a concept, a logo and a place in the city of Milan for our museum and then we worked on the institutional brand image. We were so inspired by the suburban industrial style of Milan, by the rust, by the waste material and by the concrete that we decided "Pirelli HangarBicocca" as location.

WELCOME TO MIDA (Milano Design Area)!
In a second time the project concerned more on creating a concept and a visual identity for a specific exhibition. We chose Jessica Walsh & Timothy Goodman as the first guests in MIDA, focusing our concept on the image of the two designers more as friends than as professional graphic designers. Given that we called the exhibition "You're my Friend to the End" in order to highlight that aspect. In this way we centered the exhibition around three projects: "Quotes on shit" (that inspired the whole visual identity of the exhibition), "40 Days of Dating" and "12 Kinds of Kindness".
