The Capital Markets Authority hosts the IFREFI's annual reunion
As a relatively newly established regulator launched in 2011, the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) plays a vital role in the economy of Lebanon as it promotes and develops the capital markets in Lebanon and protects investors, thus stimulating the country’s financial markets. The 15th Annual Session of the Francophone Institute of Financial Regulation, "Institut Francophone de la Régulation Financière" (IFREFI), bringing together the heads of the capital markets of the French-speaking countries as well as high-profile experts in the Lebanese financial sector, was hosted by the CMA at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beirut.
