I worked with the team at Stun Creative / Buster Design to develop the CNN Original Series Open and campaign concepts for the new season of Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown.
DESIGN & CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
During the creative development phase I explored several design and conceptual directions. I focused on Bourdain’s sense of adventure and stand out personality.
Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown Show Open
I integrated the CNN Original Series logo directly into Anthony's adventure. I used a rotoscoped shot of Anthony Bourdain and a nondescript international location to create the environment the surrounding.
IN BOURDAIN’S OWN WORDS
In addition to pure visual juxtaposition I explored alternate design directions using quotes from Bourdain to feature his personality.
