Watching Bjarke Ingels (BIG) speak about his projects leaves most aspiring architects with the will to find an intermediate design between the pragmatic and utopia. The success that this new-age firm has achieved reminds me that being an architect is not just about designing but also talking the walk (if that's a phrase!). This attribute of his led me to Copenhagen- The BIG City as I like to call it because you can find BIG literally everywhere you look. To be honest, half the excitement finally to be standing infront of the VM Houses was because of all that I had read about it. The 'Unite d'Habitation 2.0'  seems like just a drop in the ocean which slowly dries out when you realise that the most overwhelming thing about BIG's architecture in Copenhagen is how he managed to be all over the place.
