A chair for my daughter

This is the first piece of furniture I have made. I thought it's easier to start with a kid's chair than with a full-sized one.

I wanted to make a chair that lasts at least a hundred years and that has no screws or nails. This chair is entirely made of one 2x4 birch plank, and only uses glue to stay together.

First version of the front leg—that was ditched.
Rough structure using the first version of front legs that were improved later.
Final versions of front legs. Only seat and backrest are missing, but the parts are not glued together yet.
At this point I did some 3d modelling which helped me to decide how I would taper the legs.
Glueing it all together...
And there it is!
