KUBE HOUSE

A cubic chameleon combines the cold concrete exterior with the warm wooden interior. Because of the monolithic structure and clean lines the building looks hostile to strangers. But after crossing the threshold you shift to the alternate reality.

The interior represents the game of textures. It’s large and airy with wood finishes adding a touch of warmth and a loose separating into rooms. The ground level consists of combined kitchen and living areas. A two-storey wall serves as a shelf for all little things (at home there is always the lack of place to put them on). The unexpected designer’s finding is a movable floor which adapts to the residents’  needs.
