Truck art style magazine covers

Fetish is described as a compulsive and obsessive desire to a certain object/person/concept. Our task was to take in mind the role of fetish in creating something undesirable to desirable and vice-versa. This work is on the concept of turning desirable to undesirable keeping in mind its initial use. I chose magazine covers as a desirable concept since in itself it is 'an epitome of fetishes'.
I converted the visual language to truck art style which contradicts the visual language of Harper's bazaar magazine. The visuals I worked on the magazine's cover are completely different to what magazines follow however I am not conveying that the truck art style is undesirable, it simply is different making it undesirable for people who are fed with these fetishes. The truck art style is a beautiful and meaningful art form. The visual language of it is vibrant, diverse, and chaotic compared to magazines. Keeping in mind the layout of the actual magazines, I designed two posters
