The Brief 

I was approached to create the identity for a bar, owned by a Melbourne couple, in Seminyak, Bali. The concept was to create something nodding to Bali’s colourful bustle whilst injected a hint of Melbourne street and bar culture. The budget was tight although there was access to cheaper resources like printing and signage in Bali, this I believe actually lead to a more innovative outcome. 

The Process 

As the clients were in Bali the entire process was done online, making collaboration with the clients that little bit trickier. However numerous concepts were explored like creating giant illustrations from floor to ceiling and painting the triangular pattern designed for the poster across the walls. 

The Outcome 

The final outcome included bright purple neon signage, coaster design, a press release and other social media collateral.
