25th Anniversary special section for the Kenosha News
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
For the past five Bristol Renaissance Faire seasons, I produced a supplemental section to the Kenosha News detailing all aspects of the Faire from food to show schedules. These sections without fail provided a massive challenge with an excruciatingly tight deadline, large amount of detailed content and last minute additions and subtractions.
I usually produced these, 16-page sections indepenedently, but for the 25th Anniversary I worked hand-in-hand with fellow Kenosha News designer Lisa Mowry. Together, we pushed the client forward toward a clean design with historically-acurate typography and trendy, vibrant colors. Designed on a ridgid grid, the section is easily scanable and highlights many unique aspects of the nine week festival.
